Versatile Vertical Tillage
When Case IH engineers asked customers and dealers for input on a new tillage tool, the response was versatility. The True Tandem 330 Turbo is a vertical tillage tool that prepares seedbeds and manages residue. Blades are angle mounted, while the shallow concave of the turbo blade moves soil and residue laterally and up and down. The tool can be used for fall or spring tillage and is available in two widths: 25' and 34'. The True Tandem 330 requires a tractor with a minimum PTO horsepower of 5 hp to 7 hp per foot, three hydraulic remote valves and a hydraulic pressure of 220 psi. Price: 25', $42,750 and 34', $56,650. Lexion Puts Function First
The 2008 models of Lexion combines are sporting new updates. The CEBIS on-board computer monitoring system is easier to read with a sharper resolution color and anti-glare screen. The control level has a new ergonomic design for easier use. Class 8 models (580 and 585R) have an optional heavy-duty drive for use with 12-row chopping corn heads. The new rear chopper drive tensioner switches chopper speeds from corn to soybeans and back. Two Single-Auger Grain Carts
Killbros Grain Handling has two new single-auger grain carts: Model 1175 with 750-bu. capacity and the 1185 with 850-bu. capacity. The auger is 17", which can handle 400 bu. per minute. Corner auger designs provide maximum visibility, while the sump design achieves complete unloading. Options: wheel configurations, directional downspout, scales and hydraulic drive kit. New Look for 900 Vario
The Fendt 900 Vario Series is re-introduced with a new look. Available in five models, the series ranges from 180 PTO hp to 275 PTO hp. The models provide high transport speed (31 mph) and the Vario drive technology for efficient power transfer. To match a farmer’s needs, the armrest control center can be outfitted with either a high-tech Profi configuration or a lower-specification Power configuration.
