BouMatic, a global dairy equipment and chemical manufacturer, introduces its HiFlo Evolution pulsator, the newest addition to a long line of pulsators developed by the company.

The performance advantage of the HiFlo Evolution is found in its low-cost service requirement, easy installation and rugged durability. Periodic service can be performed in about one minute compared to more complex pulsators, and the HiFlo Evolution can quickly and seamlessly retrofit into virtually any brand of existing milking parlor.

The HiFlo Evolution pulsator boasts a simple, robust design requiring only eight different parts. It is manufactured in the U.S. and requires no tools or special handling for its service and maintenance.

"Today we are witnessing another industry milestone with the introduction of the HiFlo Evolution pulsator," says Dennie Plomedahl, BouMatic brand manager. "The bloodlines of today’s HiFlo Evolution are tied to the very first commercial pulsator developed by Lawrence Bouma in 1939. The engineering is unmistakable, which is a testament to Bouma’s efficient design and rugged reliability."

BouMatic is also introducing several new products at major dairy and agricultural expositions worldwide, including the Xcalibur Streamline,  the company’s newest rotary milking system, and activity and feeding modules for SmartDairy, BouMatic’s groundbreaking modular dairy management system.

New robotic systems for milking and for applying teat dips will also make their debut at these expositions. The robotic units will be highly price-competitive with other automated milk systems currently on the market.
