A new mobile app has been developed for the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition, held in Tulare, Calif., Feb. 14-16.
The new for 2012 app will allow World Ag Expo’s visitors to have a wealth of information about the show on their mobile devices and give users of web-enabled phones the ability to receive up-to-the-minute news, alerts and breaking information from World Ag Expo.
“Not only do we display the latest in technology for our industry at World Ag Expo, but we also utilize it to create the best experience for exhibitors and attendees of our show,” said Jerry Sinift, International Agri-Center’s chief executive officer. “Our goal is to help attendees make the most of their time at the Expo. This app provides them with all the essential information they need to easily navigate the show grounds, plan their day and access the latest news and updates at their fingertips.”
Attendees looking for a particular exhibitor can use the interactive map to help them find their way. The app also allows visitors to:
- download exhibitor information;
- organize their daily schedule;
- stay in the know with show alerts and event schedules;
- read the latest information from World Ag Expo;
- check out onsite dining options.

The International Agri-Center is home to World Ag Expo, attended by an estimated annual average of 100,000 individuals from 70 countries each year. The Expo is the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with 1,600 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.
