Shatto Rolls Out Signature Milk Flavor Celebrating Chief's Remarkable Success. Hint, It's A Smash Hit!
Kansas City Chief fans are celebrating big as their team heads to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons. Small businesses across the Kansas City region are also celebrating the team's success.
Shatto Milk Company’s owner says she loves the Chiefs. The Missouri-based dairy company is releasing its fan-favorite Red Velvet flavored milk after the Chiefs took home the AFC Championship and landed themselves in a spot for the Super Bowl LVIII.
“I get so excited about the Chiefs," she said, sharing that they are capitalizing on the Chief’s success.
Shatto Milk Company is a small, family-owned and operated dairy farm located just north of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The family has been milking cows for more than 80 years and in June of 2003, they began processing their own milk.
Recently, Shatto Milk has created its own swag line that includes, “Mahomes Dairy Cow.” Their flagship cow, Casey, has been transitioned into looking like the Kansas City Chief’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, sporting a headband and Mahomes signature hairstyle.
Last year, Shatto Milk celebrated Mahomes’s second MVP honor by rolling out a special MVP bottle of chocolate cherry milk. The company produced 11,000 limited edition bottles.
“Our customers were very outspoken about their desire for a limited edition bottle this year to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our hometown football team. This is just one of the many achievements that we are excited to highlight,” Shatto said.
The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday at 5:40 p.m.
