Research confirms that healthier students are better learners.  The fact is, however, that less than half of kids across the county get enough daily physical activity, and only 2% of kids get adequate daily servings of all food groups. You can help change this during this month’s season of giving.

Starting today, the GENYOUh Foundation – whose Fuel Up to Play 60 program is the largest health and wellness program in schools across the country -- is launching an inaugural FUT60 Text-2-Donate campaign in partnership with the New York Jets.  GENYOUth is asking people to lend a hand this holiday season by donating $10 to improve health and wellness in schools. When grant dollars are there, those schools can do so much more to get their kids up and moving and fueled up with nutritious foods.  Your donation will help fund physical activity and nutrition grants to 3 million kids in the New York and New Jersey area.

Donate $10 toward this worthy cause! Simply text 501501 in your phone, then type in the word JETS.

What You Can Do: In conjunction with tonight’s nationally televised Jets–Dolphins game on ESPN, you can donate $10 to GENYOUth.The donation will automatically be added to your phone bill by your mobile carrier.

Encourage your connections (industry members, employees, friends, family and your community) to donate $10.

·  Text the number 501501

·  Type JETS in the message line.  Standard text messaging and data rates may apply.
