Dairy Farm Admits to Employing 10 in Country Illegally
An upstate New York dairy farm admits to employing 10 people who were in the country illegally.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Glenview Dairy, which does business as Bergen Farms, was sentenced to pay a $60,000 fine Thursday after pleading guilty to a charge of attempting to harbor the employees.
Authorities say the farm in the Schuyler County village of Odessa hired the workers between 2012 and 2014.
